Have you ever heard of Rosehip oil? I can bet you have heard of essential oils, but this one is a class all by itself. It’s more like a carrier oil. You know, the stuff you dilute your essential oils with. It’s not JUST a carrier oil. It’s a great anti-aging oil for your skin. I started using it a few years ago when I was researching types of essential oils to use for dry skin. I had heard that coconut oil should not be used on the face, but there is so much controversy in this. I used it for years mixed with coconut oil and essential oils until about 6 months ago. I now use Radha Rosehip Oil daily, alone, with my moisturizer. It has been so helpful to my dry face and has brought back so much moisture. My goal now is to try it on my wrinkly hands and stretch marks to see if there will be as big as a difference as I have seen in my face.
If you don’t use rosehip and you have dry skin, it is well worth the try and it’s very affordable, too! Here are some great reasons to use rosehip oil for your face (and other areas, too)! Oh, before I forget, it’s supposed to help with stretch marks, too! All you oily people…don’t count this oil out! Keep reading to see how it will help you, too.
Rosehip oil is very hydrating!
When I say very hydrating, I mean it! My skin soaks it up, but beware, it does leave my face a bit oily. With that being said, it is still reported to be great for people with oily skin because of all the benefits below. So, if you have oily skin, just keep reading.
I have been putting it on my skin first, before my daily moisturizer and it has done well for me. I recently read that it is best to put it on AFTER moisturizer. If your skin is oily, you can just skip moisturizer all together, but I recommend one with sunscreen. So, from now on, I will do it after and see how that goes. So far, I have seen the most benefits since I have been only using Radha Rosehip and a moisturizer with sunscreen. For the first time in my life my face has not been dry and flaky. In fact, it has been the softest and most hydrated as it has ever been.
It has vitamins A, E, and K, as well as fatty acids such as omegas 3 and 6.
Rosehip oil is high in antioxidants. An antioxidant helps prevent oxidation. This oxidation damages cells, so vitamin A helps to reduce or prevent this oxidation and helps support the replacement of skin cells.
Vitamin C is found in between the layers of skin cells and helps to prevent cancer and helps increase collagen, which gives skin firmness and strength.
Vitamin K reduces discoloration and improves elasticity, as well as helping to heal the skin of wounds and bruises.
Omega oils moisturize the skin and help prevent and heal red, dry, or itchy skin caused by many forms of dermatitis. Omega oils also lesson UV damages to the skin and helps reduce aging.
Reduces Aging? Heck yes!!! Sign me up, baby. Well, I already signed up years ago, but have just recently jumped on the train full force. With all of these benefits, everyone should use a rosehip oil such as Radha Rosehip Oil every day!
It is advertised as a magical oil that regenerates and restores skin and helps with wrinkles.
Re-read what I wrote above about all the vitamins and omegas that are found in rosehip oil. By the way, I just realized that I didn’t really explain what rosehip oil is and where it comes from. Easy peasy. Rosehips are the little seed pods at the base of a type of wild rose plant. They press the hips and make the oil. Simple.
Rosehip oil has all the good stuff I listed above which helps to produce collagen, which fades wrinkles. What other information do you need to know? I mean, that does it for me!
It’s the beauty secret of many celebrities!
Just a quick search shows just a few celebrities that use rosehip oil daily. Miranda Kerr (model), Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Princess), Gwyneth Paltrow (actress), Victoria Beckham (singer, fashion designer) and David Gandy (model) all have reported using this magical oil every day as part of their beauty routine. I am sure they use some kind of pricey and fancy named rosehip oil, but the one I use comes from Amazon. It’s from a company that has been around for a while and it’s 100% organic.
Radha Rosehip Oil is a great product to add to your daily skin regimen.
